Hong Kong Channel

Why assess a Hong Kong route?

Assess Hong Kong express, air freight and battery shipping options against the actual cargo and destination.

Express Shipping Options

Hong Kong FedEx / DHL / UPS channels may be assessed for eligible dangerous goods and non-dangerous chemicals. The documentation requirements of Hong Kong and mainland origin channels may differ, depending on the classification of goods, mode of transport and carrier review for each shipment. Declare the product description, quantity and value accurately.

Air Freight Options

Air freight options from Hong Kong are assessed by cargo type, airline and route. Hong Kong and mainland departures may have different acceptance conditions and document requirements. Compare available routes, capacity and document requirements. Hong Kong departures must also comply with applicable ICAO/IATA dangerous goods requirements, airline variations and current acceptance review.

Battery Shipping from Hong Kong

Acceptance conditions differ for batteries shipped on their own, packed with equipment or contained in equipment. Provide the battery type, UN number, specifications, quantity, destination and applicable UN38.3 documentation for carrier review before booking. Damaged, defective or recalled batteries require separate assessment.

Compliance Checks

Review applicable rules, carrier conditions, documents, packaging and handover before shipment. These checks reduce avoidable risks; they do not guarantee delivery or exemption from inspection.

How Do Hong Kong Channels Connect with Shenzhen–Hong Kong Transport?

Mainland road transport and air departure from Hong Kong require separate compliance checks. Confirm classification, packaging, route and each party’s responsibilities before arranging handover.

01 · Air Freight from Hong Kong

Review MSDS, packaging, labels and declaration information against IATA DGR, Hong Kong requirements and the carrier’s conditions. Where a DGD is required, authorized personnel prepare and submit it using accurate shipper information. EQ eligibility and any additional appraisal documents require review for the specific shipment.

02 · Shenzhen–Hong Kong Road Transport

Confirm the cargo’s road transport classification, vehicle qualifications and required procedures before mainland–Hong Kong handover. Goods requiring dangerous goods road transport must use appropriately qualified resources. Listing in the Catalogue of Dangerous Chemicals does not replace a complete transport classification review.

Documents and Responsibilities to Confirm Before Shipment

The shipper must provide classification, MSDS, quantity and packaging information that matches the actual cargo. GENORDA performs assessment and handling based on those documents; each party retains its responsibilities under the applicable rules. Road transport qualifications do not guarantee acceptance for air transport or exclude customs and other regulatory inspections. No exemption from inspection or detention is promised. Qualifications and licence scope must be checked against valid originals for the shipment.

How GENORDA coordinates your shipment

Information review → Packaging and document coordination → Channel confirmation → Transport handover. Classification, road transport arrangements and carrier acceptance are checked for the actual shipment.
