Direct answer
Dangerous packages usually need to consider both " labels " and " markings " . Risk labels are graphically expressed as primary or secondary hazards; Operating labels to indicate the exclusive, directional or special handling of cargo machines; The mark indicates UN numbers, correct shipping name, consignee, net quantity and specific cargo information in text or symbol. The specific combination is determined by UN entries, quantities, packaging forms and modes of transport.
Three types of information should not be confused.
| Type | Role | Common examples |
|---|---|---|
| Risk label | Indicate risk category | Flammable liquids, corrosivity, toxicity, class 9 |
| Operation Tab | Note transport and handling conditions | Cargo Aircraft Only, Arrow |
| Packaging Tags | Identification of goods and packages | UN number, correct shipping name, lithium cell tag, net weight of dry ice |

FAQ
Can the label be printed on its own?
Being able to make on its own does not mean that it can be designed at will. Colours, sizes, symbols, borders, durability and display locations must meet applicable rules and carrier requirements.
Can you travel with the overpack labeled?
No way. The label is only part of the compliance chain and also meets the requirements of classification, packaging, limitation, documentation, staff training and shipment clearance.
