Public statements by DHL distinguish between embargo and restricted goods, with different conditions of acceptance for different products and services. Its American Electrician Business page also indicates that prior approval may be required for the acceptance of dangerous goods. This is an example of specific services from which it cannot be inferred that other countries or DHL Express apply the same conditions.
Create transport data files for each SKU
It is recommended that accurate names, manufacturers, models or formulation versions, photographs of products, information on the application of MSDS or batteries, and current packaging information be maintained. The replenishment is not limited to a physical check, but should also confirm whether the supplier has changed the formulation, battery or contents.
For packaged commodities, the file should cover all components. For example, when the main commodity is sold together with gifts, backup batteries or cleaning materials, it cannot be audited only for the main commodity.
